Join us for the inaugural King's Clinical Academic Research Symposium. Hear from Professor Annette Boaz (Director, NIHR Health and Social Care Workforce Research Unit and Professor of Health and Social Care at King's College London); Simon Denigri (Executive Director of the Academy of Medical Sciences); Dr Marietta Stadler (NIHR Clinician Scientist at King's College London) and more!

You'll have the chance to present your research either in a poster or short talk; meet other clinical academics from a range of disciplines across King’s Health Partners; and learn more about what it takes to progress as a health professional researcher. There will be prizes for the best posters, the chance to nominate your supervisor for their work in supporting you, as well as opportunities to highlight the best practices for Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE).

Whether you’re a student or health professional thinking about embarking on a short piece of research or a PhD; someone already enrolled on a PhD and looking to understand postdoc funding; or a postdoc approaching consultant level, this is a fantastic opportunity to understand how your career can evolve, see your research valued, and be inspired to take your next steps.
