Primary Care Webinar Series - Rheumatology

Our final King’s Health Partners Primary Care Webinar of 2024 is titled 'Rheumatology – An update for Primary Care'.

The webinar will be chaired by Dr Rachna Chowla, Joint Director of Clinical Strategy, King's Health Partners.

Speakers:

• Prof James Galloway, Professor of Rheumatology, King’s College London and Honorary Consultant in Rheumatology, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust;
• Dr Katie Bechman, Specialist Registrar in Rheumatology and NIHR Clinical Lecturer, King’s College London;
• Dr Victoria Allen, Specialist Registrar in Infectious Diseases and NIHR Doctoral Fellow, King’s College London.

Our experts will discuss some aspects that are important to primary care – referral pathways (who to refer, when and how), disease modifying drugs and monitoring in primary care (some new guidelines are on their way) and lastly, joint infections (when to worry, and in which cohort of patients, might the clinical picture look different to what we expect).

This will be an online event and the session will be recorded for later viewing on the King's Health Partners learning hub.
