Join us to reflect on the progress we've made to integrate mental and physical healthcare in south east London.

Integrating our Mental and Physical Healthcare (IMPHS) is funded by the Maudsley Charity, hosted by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (FT) and delivered alongside colleagues from the Centre for Implementation Science at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. The project aims to improve support and services for people with serious mental illnesses regarding their physical health.

The Mind & Body team has been organising a series of lunchtime webinars to share learnings and experience from delivering the project, and there’s a number of insightful sessions planned for this February, taking place on Wednesdays between 1pm – 2pm:

An evaluation of physical healthcare within SLaM community mental health teams, 8 February

This event focusses on sharing the outcomes from a service evaluation investigating how physical healthcare is approached within SLaM’s adult community mental health teams.

Consultant Connect, 15 February

This session covers the implementation and evaluation of Consultant Connect in South London and Maudsley NHS FT services over the last two years.

Physical Health Clinic, 22 February

This webinar goes over key learnings from a pilot partnership project that embedded an in-reach physical health team within inpatient services at two of South London and Maudsley NHS FT hospitals.
