King's Health Partners has formally partnered with the South Asian Health Foundation, a UK-based charity, who, with the Academic Health Science Network and Learn with Nurses, are leading a series of webinars between experts in India and the UK to help support learning and knowledge exchange around COVID-19.
The clinically-focused webinars will run throughout May and cover topics ranging from COVID-19 monitoring and management at home, to hospital-based therapies and intensive care unit management. A later series of speciality-based clinical exchanges are also being planned, in the context of COVID-19.
Prof Ajay Shah, a patron of the South Asian Health Foundation, along with Dr Rachna Chowla, Joint Director of Clinical Strategy, King's Health Partners, are supporting this initiative. Rachna is chairing an exchange on 14th May 2021 at 4pm GMT (8:30pm IST time) discussing Prevention and Early management of COVID-19, and Prof Ajay will participate in one of the later specialty-based webinars that are being planned.
We are keen to identify colleagues with expertise in dealing with a variety of aspects of COVID-19 and who would be interested in supporting this initiative by contributing to a webinar or have ideas for future topics.
