South east London faces significant population health challenges, some of which are common to urban locations and some of which are unique to our area.
Improving urban population health is a theme in King's Health Partners five-year plan – 'Delivering better health for all through high impact innovation'.
Together with the South East London Integrated Care System (ICS), the South East London Coalition for Better Health and Equity was launched. The coalition works across organisations and communities to improve physical and mental health outcomes and wellbeing of the population while reducing health inequalities.
